MyQ X 10.3 has important changes compared to previous versions. These changes include added, remove, and changed features of the system. Read this article carefully to understand the impact of such changes before you upgrade.

Important Changes
ULTIMATE License Plan replaced by ENTERPRISE
MyQ X 10.3 introduces changes to the licensing model:
-
The ULTIMATE license plan has been retired. During upgrade to 10.3, customers on this plan are migrated to ENTERPRISE with the corresponding number of Embedded licenses. The External Workflow (ScannerVision) feature is now included in the Embedded license.
-
The Embedded Ultimate license is introduced. This license is assigned per device, and enables all Embedded features, plus Scan Review support.
License Assignment to Devices
Prior to MyQ X 10.3, licenses were assigned to devices silently and automatically. Now, you must assign a license to a printer according to its usage. Go to MyQ > Printers > Action - Edit Printer > Licenses and assign a license to a printer:
-
Embedded
-
Embedded Lite
-
Embedded Ultimate

OCR Profiles
MyQ X 10.3 introduces Hot Folder and MyQ Document Processor OCR profile types. You can now use both types of profile with difference Easy Scan actions at the same time.
During upgrade, 10.2 OCR profiles are migrated as follows:
-
Custom OCR Server → Hot Folder
-
MyQ OCR Server -> MyQ Document Processor
If a profile's output format is not compatible with MDP, the profile is deleted, and any Easy Scan actions that used it are reset to the Default format.
Review your OCR profiles and Easy Scan actions after upgrading to confirm that all profiles were converted correctly and that no actions were unexpectedly reset.

Cloud Connector Helper URL
Before MyQ X 10.3, the cloud helper application for OAuth token exchange was hosted at helper.myq.cz.
Starting with 10.3, a new cloud helper application is used, hosted at helper2.myq-solution.com. This applies to all OEM variants (MyQ, KNM, aQrate).
Action required if you use Manual-mode Connections:
If your organization has registered applications in cloud services that are configured in Manual mode (in MyQ > Settings > Network > Connections), you must update those registered applications to add the new helper URL (helper2.myq-solution.com) before or after upgrading.
Connections configured in automatic mode are updated by MyQ and do not require manual action.
Traefik Upgrade - Migrate Custom Rules
MyQ X 10.3 includes Traefik v3.6.x, replacing the previous v2.x. If your environment uses custom Traefik rules, you must migrate the YAML file from v2 to v3 syntax.

Removed Features
OCR Server
Support for the standalone MyQ OCR Server was removed in 10.3. The feature is replaced by MyQ Document Processor (MDP), and existing MyQ OCR Server profiles are converted to MyQ Document Processor profiles.
Removed Terminal Support
10.3 removes support for the following legacy terminals:
-
Recharge Terminal
-
TerminalPro
-
TCPCONV2 (including NET2USB Converter V2)
-
Android Terminal
As alternatives, use native embedded terminals, the Release Station app, the Network Authentication Terminal, Embedded Lite terminals and job release via the MyQ X Mobile Client.
Terminal Manager is deprecated, and the legacy terminal RPC interface (WebService_Terminal) is disabled (since 10.2 patch 23). Installations that have these legacy devices in the database keep working (auto-detected), but no new deployments of this hardware/software are supported.
