MyQ allows you to scan documents directly from printing devices and deliver them to a range of destinations, including user email, cloud storage, FTP servers, and more.
Easy Scan is the recommended way to scan in MyQ. Configured by an administrator as a terminal action, Easy Scan provides a one-tap scanning experience on the embedded terminal with flexible destinations and processing options, including OCR.
MyQ also supports Optical Character Recognition (OCR), either through the MyQ Document Processor or by integrating a third-party OCR application via hot folder.
For devices that do not have a MyQ embedded terminal installed – for example, devices running on a SMART license – or in cases where a device's native scan panel options are not fully supported by MyQ, scanning to a user's email via the device's SMTP server is also supported.
