Security

• Improved security for CSV exports.

• PM Server now uses the server certificate instead of a self-signed certificate.

• A new helper is used for cloud connections.

Improvements

• new feature Provide your own common-area printing solutions with kiosk-based job release to one or more devices. See Release Stations.

• new feature Use MyQ Scan Review as an Easy Scan destination, for digitization of documents with preserved authenticity and integrity. See MyQ Scan Review.

• new feature Use MyQ Document Processor as an OCR and scan processing service, configured in Easy Scan Processing via OCR Profiles. See MyQ Document Processor.

• Include device logs from up to 5 printers when generating support data.

• Require authentication for IPPS jobs, in MyQ > Settings > Jobs. This option is enabled by default for new installations.

• MS Cluster deployments: terminal packages cannot be changed while terminal monitor scripts are running. Take the scripts offline before upgrading terminals, then bring them back online.

• Optimized the speed of long running database queries under certain conditions.

• Added the new Delta synchronization option for Entra ID, and a new scheduled task for lightweight, frequent synchronization.

• Improved WPP support in MyQ queues. IPP attributes can be passed from the printer to the Windows workstation.

Changes

• .NET 4.8 is a system requirement for Print Server. Ensure this requirement is met before you upgrade Print Server. An unsupported .NET Framework version prevents services from starting.

• Added "Rate Us" option to the dashboard (appears 30 days after installation).

• By default, MyQ X now uses the cloud helper application helper2.myq-solution.com.

• Easy Scan properties has new "Job Processing" tab for MyQ Document Processor settings.

• MyQ uses a new cloud application for OneDrive Personal. Users will need to reconnect their OneDrive cloud storages.

• New license type - Embedded Ultimate. Enables activated devices to use MyQ Scan Review.

• OCR profiles can now have two types: Hot Folder and Document Processor.

• Removed Firebird Client ADO.NET.msi file.

• Removed option to disable scanning in MyQ > Settings > Scanning & OCR.

• Removed support for MyQ OCR Server. Replaced by MyQ Document Processor (MDP) and option to use "hot folder".

• Removed support for Terminal Pro terminal and Android terminal.

• Removed unsecure port option for Site connection.

• SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business and Entra ID setup now use the new passthrough redirect.

• Terminal licenses must now be assigned manually to printers.

• The list of available languages in the terminal action Edit account is now limited to languages from MyQ > Settings > General (default + additional languages).

Bug Fixes

• "No PHP session" error appears during login attempt from Mobile Client after a change in CA certificates.

• Adding a card or PIN that is already assigned to another user on a Site Server incorrectly displays a Central Server connection error.

• Adding new delegates can cause user synchronization errors.

• After CA certificate refresh, terminals and Mobile Client can not reconnect to the Print Server until all services are restarted.

• Apache reports errors about missing environment variables to Event log.

• Change of queue is not propagated to MDC (change of address for IPP printing).

• Copy count from macOS is ignored when Job Parser is set to basic.

• Database sweep cannot complete on big databases in some cases because of too short timeout.

• Delegate removal was not reflected in user sync in some cases.

• Deleting a group from printer properties can result in a server communication error.

• Dynamic variables, which are normally supported in Easy Scan destinations, do not work in the cloud storage site name (SharePoint Online), Drive name (Google Drive for Workspace), and Root folder.

• Entra ID user is not automatically logged into MDC when using SSO.

• Exporting users to CSV during user synchronization exports outdated users.

• Reordering synchronization sources can fail when the list of sources contains a combination of LDAP and CSV sources.

• Restore Settings fails if a user had a report created.

• Some MS Office documents spooled via Web or Email are partially missing borders or lines.

• Status of Scheduled task can get stuck in some cases.

• The "show archived" Code Books option fails to show archived values.

• The option to permanently remove deleted users and groups fails if a deleted user has created a report.

• User connecting a OneDrive destination might not obtain enough rights for Scan / Easy Print.

• When the Printer Provisioning Profiles license package has been purchased multiple times, the displayed number of profiles was incorrect.

• In the terminal themes selector, suggested themes display as raw HTML instead of plain text.

• Warning about "Site auth credentials not configured" on standalone installation is logged after services restart.

• When transformations are used, the log incorrectly shows the original card number instead of the transformed card number.
