Vendor-Specific Options: Canon

After you install the terminal package on the Print Server, the following vendor-specific options are available in Configuration Profiles:

Local Admin Pin
Set the PIN number that is used to log in to the terminal as an administrator. When the field is empty, the default value 1087 is used.
Log debug messages
Set logging level to Debug. When enabled, the terminal generates additional log information for auditing and troubleshooting.

This setting applies to all printers that use the configuration. To log debug messages on one printer, use a separate configuration profile for that printer only.

Panel logout button function
Set what happens when the user logs out of the terminal. The following options are available:
- Logout
  The user is logged out from the terminal and the Login screen is displayed after pressing the Log Out button on an unlocked device panel.
- Return to Top menu
  Top menu is displayed after pressing the Log Out button on an unlocked device panel and the user’s session is still in progress.

Applying the changes in the Canon section on the terminal requires a force remote configuration of the device.
