Aggregated Columns in Reports

For some types of reports, you can create your own aggregated (summary) columns. An aggregated column can display either the sum or the average of a selection of any number of other columns available for the type. The following reports support aggregated columns:

Daily summary; Day of the week; Meter reading via SNMP; Total summary

Daily summary; Day of the week; Monthly summary; Project groups total summary; Projects per user; Users per project

Create an aggregated column

  1. Go to MyQ > Reports and open a report for editing.

  2. Select the Design tab.

  3. In the Table section, click Add, and select Add aggregated column.
    The properties for your new aggregated column opens.

  4. Set the properties:

    • Column: enter a name for the new column.

    • Width: specify the width. Leave empty for automatic width.

    • Alignment: select from Auto (default), Left, Right and Center.

    • Summary: select None or Sum.

    • Columns: select the columns used to calculate the aggregated operation.

    • Aggregate operation: select Sum or Average.

  5. Click Save.
    The new column is listed with the other table columns, and you can double-click on it to edit it.
