This topic introduces the MyQ system settings. To access the settings below, go to MyQ > Settings.
License
On the License settings tab, you can view your installation key, add, activate refresh and remove licenses, and manage software assurance plans.
General
On the General settings tab, you can set the administrator email, change regional settings, and other general settings.
Personalization
On the Personalization settings tab, you can add custom help links and custom logos to be used in various parts of the MyQ system.
Task Scheduler
On the Task scheduler settings tab, you can add new task schedules, change their settings and run scheduled tasks.
Network
On the Network settings tab, you can modify network settings such as certificates, server ports, etc.
Connections
On the Connections Settings tab, you connect MyQ to external cloud services such as Gmail, Microsoft Entra applications, Microsoft Exchange Online.
Authentication Servers
On the Authentication servers settings tab, you can add LDAP, Microsoft Entra ID and Radius servers for user authentication.
Printers
On the Printers settings tab, you can control the duration of temporary cards validity in hours.
Users
On the Users settings tab, you can configure general user account options (enable user profile editing, show more info in the user profile widget, enable personal queues settings, delegate changes, and deleting all ID cards), set up new user registration (via the Web Interface, job submission, or email), and configure timeout and account lockout settings.
User Synchronization
On the User Synchronization settings tab, you can import and synchronize users from LDAP servers, Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace, and other sources, and configure their properties.
Rights
On the Rights settings tab, you can give users or groups of users administrator rights, or rights to run specific MyQ agendas (managing printers, users, jobs, reports, and more).
Accounting
On the Accounting settings tab, you can set the accounting mode (Accounting Group or Cost Center) and the payment account priority for terminals and queues that don't support account selection.
Credit
On the Credit settings tab, you can activate credit-based accounting, where users can print, copy, and scan only while they have sufficient credit, and configure recharge methods.
Data Replication From Sites
On the Data Replication from Sites settings tab, Central server administrators can choose which data types (jobs, projects, printer groups, printer events, price lists, and more) get replicated from Site servers.
Reports
On the Reports main tab, you can create, generate, and schedule reports on users, printing devices, and print jobs, exportable as PDF, CSV, XML, XLSX, or ODS.
External Reports
On the External Reports settings tab, you can enable a read-only database account for external BI tools and reporting software to safely query the MyQ database.
REST API Apps
On the REST API Apps settings tab, you can register applications for access to the MyQ REST API, each with a title, scope, client ID, and secret.
Log
On the Log settings tab, you can set the Log notifier feature, which enables sending notifications about selected log events to the administrator and/or any number of MyQ users.
System Management
On the System management settings tab, you can change settings of the MyQ history, set the maximum size of files that can be uploaded on the MyQ Web Interface, delete data from the MyQ database, and also reset MyQ components to apply settings previously made on other tabs.
