Before users can print, scan, or authenticate at a device, the device needs to be added to MyQ, activated, and configured with the right terminal package and profile. For most deployments this is the most hands-on phase of the rollout – it involves physical devices, vendor-specific configuration, and coordination across network, licensing, and identity infrastructure that was set up in earlier phases.
This section covers the decisions and preparation required before devices go live, how to approach discovery and activation at scale, and how to manage terminal packages and upgrades over the lifetime of the deployment.
Work through these pages in order – device preparation depends on network and certificate decisions made earlier in the planning process, and terminal action design depends on the group and authentication configuration covered in the previous section.
