Device Certification

  • Model lines Kodaimurasaki, Tawny, Azuki, Cornflower blue, Gamboge and Ghost white added for embedded terminal support. Support added also on Print server 8.2 patch 35+ and Print server 10.1 patch 3+; for lower Print server versions, the custom bin file is required.

Improvements

  • Logs from the Canon Embedded terminal are logged to the main server log using the "Canon Terminal" subsystem.

  • Naples Yellow, Macalight, Tea Rose, Dark Green, Rakuda model lines are now supported.

  • Searching of Projects screen has been improved.

  • new feature Codebooks for Easy scan are supported.

Bug Fixes

  • Black screen was displayed after logout from panel operations.

  • Character "@" was not supported during entering of email address for Panel Scan.

  • Easy scan, Easy copy from the glass were not possible.

  • Top menu has been always displayed for the logged user instead of the proper screen after return from the Status monitor or Counter.

  • Username is displayed instead of the user ID in unlock panel.

Improvements

  • Help text's improved in Canon section in Configuration profile.

  • Invalid SSL certificate message is displayed if login failed because incorrect certificate configuration.

Bug Fixes

  • Canon terminal package had to be reinstalled after default server port change.

  • MyQ Print server 10.0 default theme (spring touch) wasn't able to use.

Limitations

  • Easy copy > Size format: only A3, A4 and A5 paper sizes are supported.

  • It is not possible to disable stapling/punching options set in the printer driver in Job properties.

Bug Fixes

  • Terminal froze after returning from the device panel.

  • User session has been stuck if jobs was not correctly parsed.
