Updating the terminal

Updating terminals is identical to installing new terminals. You need to delete the old package and install the newer installation package (*.pkg). The older version of the MyQ Embedded terminal is automatically updated and all its settings are kept.

To update the Embedded terminal:

  1. Open the Printers settings tab (MyQ, Settings, Printers)

  2. On the tab under Terminal packages, Delete the old Embedded terminal package and Add the new one.

  3. Open the Printers main tab (MyQ, Printers).

  4. Re-activate all the devices.

Uninstalling the terminal

MyQ can be uninstalled by removing the terminal from the printing device’s Web UI or by a device factory reset. If the terminal is removed from the device’s Web UI, all additional settings of the device can be preserved, whereas if the device is reset, all settings are lost and the device returns to its factory default
state.

  1. Log on the printing device’s Web UI as an administrator (http://*IPAddress of the device*).

  2. On the menu on the left side of the screen, point to Device Management, and then click Configuration. The Configuration tab opens.

  3. On the tab, under Extended Feature Settings, click Uninstall. The Uninstall tab opens.

  4. On the tab, under Extended Feature Name, find and select the MyQ Embedded Term... application, and then click Uninstall.

  5. At the bottom of the screen, click OK. The MyQ Embedded Term... application is uninstalled and you are returned to the Uninstall tab.
