To protect terminals from any unauthorized remote configuration, you can type a global configuration password in MyQ Terminal Manager. The Terminal Manager password applies to all terminals connected to the network, but it is not active and needs to be separately activated on each device.

To set the password, click Enter... under Common Settings/Configuration Password and type the password.

To activate it on a specific device, double-click the particular terminal to load its settings, select the Set option under Common Settings/Configuration Password, and click Save at the bottom.

Once the password is activated on a terminal, the remote configuration of that terminal is possible only if the string that is currently typed in MyQ Terminal Manager matches the string that was typed there at the time the password was activated.
