During the installation, communication between the printer and the Canon servers is required.

For this type of installation, only the License Access Number is required.

  1. Log in as an administrator on the printing device’s web UI (http://*IP address of the printer*/), and select Settings/Registration.

  2. On the left-hand menu, select License/Other.

  3. Select Register/Update Software.

  4. Enter the license key in the License Access Number field, and click Next.

  5. Select the checkbox next to the MyQ Terminal application, and click Start installation.

  6. Click I Accept to accept the EULA.

  7. When this confirmation screen is displayed, restart the device to finish the installation and start the application.

  8. You can check if the application is installed by going to Service Management Service > Enhanced System Application Management.
